Kowalski Distributing Company, Inc. was founded by Ervin A. Kowalski, Sr. in 1948 as a beverage distributing business in Manistee, Michigan when he was just 22 years old. He sold this portion of the business in 1984 after getting his feet wet in the trucking industry. Erv remains very active in the three generation, family owned business still in operation today in its original location, with a truck maintenance shop located just half a mile away.
